Feedback is most effective when it reaches students in a way that works for them. With the new Audio Playback option in Edcafe AI’s Assignment Grader, students can now listen to the feedback generated for their work.
This update adds another layer of accessibility, helping students who learn best by listening or who may find written feedback harder to process.
For teachers
- Create an Assignment Grader file and select the student level you want the feedback tailored to.
- Edcafe AI will generate feedback automatically, matched to the chosen level.
For students
- Upload an assignment and submit it through the Assignment Grader.
- Review the generated feedback by playing it back as audio—pausing or replaying as needed.
Why it matters
Hearing feedback can make it easier for students to absorb and reflect on what they need to improve. It’s particularly valuable for auditory learners, younger students, or anyone who benefits from an alternative to text-heavy comments.
